How to add tabs to your blog?

Step 1

Sign into your Blogger account. Find the blog to which you want to add the tab bar in the blogs listed on the default Dashboard page.

Step 2

Click the blue “Design” menu option in the pane under the blog’s title to open the “Add and Arrange Page Elements” design settings page. Depending on where you want the tab bar, click “Add a Gadget” in either the page layout’s top section under the header, or in the sidebar section on the left or right side of the page layout.

Step 3

Scroll to the “Link List” gadget toward the bottom of the Add a Gadget dialog box. Click the white-blue “+” button beside the gadget title to add and configure the gadget with the tab links that you want to add to your blog.

Step 4

Type the URL Web address of the external Web page or internal blog post into the “URL” input box. Enter a title for the website, Web page or blog post into the “Title” box. Repeat this process for each tab link that you want on your tab bar.

Step 5

Enter the number of tab links that you want to display in the bar into the applicable box. Select how you want to order the tab links on your tab bar by selecting either the alphabetical or reverse alphabetical option from the “Sort” pull-down list.

Step 6

Click “Save” to store your preferences and close the gadget configuration dialog box. Click the orange “Save” button in the top right-hand corner of the page to add the gadget and publish the changes to your blog. This displays the tab bar in your preferred location on your Blogger blog.
